Together with the Romanian partner Rara Logistic from Sibiu, the Andreas Schmid Group has established a new direct freight line from Romania to Germany. On August 1, 2023, the first vehicle left Sibiu for Gersthofen.
And vice versa, shipments from Germany are distributed via the freight line and Rara Logistic in the Romanian network and can be delivered locally the next day.
During a visit by Rarea Sarbu, General Manager of Rara Logistic to the Andreas Schmid Group, the final details of the new general freight cooperation were decided.
The logistics points of the Romania-Germany round-trip route are: Sibiu, Arad (Romania), Budapest (Hungary), Bratislava (Slovakia), Vienna (Austria), Munich, Augsburg, Gersthoffen (Germany).
